Ok. A lot of the yahoo politicians want to tell you what you need. Heck with that. My job as a congressional candidate is to ask you what you want me to do. Further, I have to listen and understand what it is most of you want from me, your next congressman. If I listen and understand, and take action, to me that is earning your vote. Before the election.
What about these other yahoos running for Congress? What are they doing to earn your vote? Do they communicate with you? Do they have an interactive blog like I do? Or instead, are these yahoos only communicating with special interest groups and corporations? I think most of these yahoo congressional candidates are running for special interest groups and political action committees, hereafter PACS. PACS and Special Interest Groups (SIGS) hate the individual. Whereas Mr. Scherer likes the individual, just like our founding fathers did. So, if you are an individual or a small business owner, Scherer is far and beyond, the best candidate for United States Congress.
What we need to do now is get rid of a bunch more of those yahoos in Washington that brought irresponsibilty and fiscal insanity to you for way too many years. Clearly, by issue below are what I have heard the voice of the voters:
1. Make governments smaller, more efficient, more transparent and listen better to we, the people.
2. Stop all the political nonsense in Washington including this lack of fiscal responsiblity and democratic socialism or progressive politics.
3. Stop all the political corruption and taxing the middle class by using federal tax policy to do social engineering.
4. Reinvest in our domestic agenda by rebuilding our national infrastructure. Such as building a transport system for the 21st Century. Just like China and India are doing. 100% of those I have communicated with want to rebuild our national infrastructure. Instead of wasting over a trillion dollars rescuing failed entities like AIG, Government Motors (GM) and the bankers or money changers that almost caused the collapse of our national economy. Remember, officially, we entered into a depression on April 29, 2009. As defined by most economists as being the 3rd consecutive decline in revised Gross Domestic Product.
5. Most of us in America want a major modification to our federal tax policy. However, it is my duty to inform you that the Fair Tax (H.R. 25) is a horrible idea. This is to benefit the rich--not you the individual. If any congressional candidate, supports H.R. 25, do not vote for them.
6. Most of us in America want our troops and National Guard to return from Iraq and Afghanistan. And stop interfering in other nation's sovereignity. The fact our nation is spending 50% of the total amount on defense appropriations in the entire world is horrible. Remember, Eisenhowser warned of the military-industrial complex in 1961. Remember what he warned about here in 2010.
7. A heck of a lot of other things, there is a broad consensus. Like how we need to remind these yahoo politicans we, the people are in charge of the federal government. Some in the federal government think they are in charge. If they forget that simple fact, we together need to fire them. So let us do that.
8. As a nation and individually, there are many issues that divide us as a nation. Like abortion, religion, hate, guns. To these issues where we are lacking a clear consensus, I will do my very best to not run and hide from divisive issues. So, I ask for your help. Can we agree that some of these issues that divide us as a nation, we can still discuss civility and with respect to those we do not agree with? Further, is diversity of viewpoint on any given issue one of the things that make us a great nation?
We can make America a better place or a "more perfect" union. Our first goal to do so is to unite ourselves, we the people and take back control of a really horrible federal government. Remember, we love America. We are just mad at some of these yahoo politicians that have forgotten we are in charge-not them..
